Welsh Weaving Sioni Rhys Handweavers is based in Pandy, a village whose very name means 'fulling mill'. It reminds us that textiles and sheep were key to the Welsh economy of old. This is a district that once produced the finest flannel in the land. In addition to its unique 'carthenni', Sioni Rhys handweavers produces very fine, lightweight accessories in a range of natural luxury fibres. The processes are traditional - the cloth is stamped in a bath of soap and warm water to 'full out' its body.
Such care & attention to detail make each piece unique, and of the highest quality.
